About this coloring page
One is where counting begins. This number 1 coloring page has a big 1, the word one in bubble letters, and a framed box that says "Count and color 1 thing" with a single bubble inside. With just one shape, the page is about matching: one number, one word, one thing.
Look for things there is only one of. You have one nose and one mouth, and Earth has one moon. A unicycle has one wheel. To write 1, start at the top and make a straight line down; some styles add a small slanted flag at the top and a flat base at the bottom. Children often say "one" while pointing to two things at once, so practice touching each object as you count. Ask your child to hold up one finger, then find one more thing to match it.
