About this coloring page
Three is the first number where a group starts to feel like a crowd. This number 3 coloring page has a big 3, the word three in bubble letters, and three flowers in a row to count and color. Children can touch each flower and say "one, two, three" before choosing petals and centers.
Things that come in threes: a triangle has three sides and three corners, a tricycle has three wheels, and a traffic light has three colors, red, yellow and green. Many stories have three of something, which makes this a fun number for retelling. To write 3, make two bumps facing right: start at the top, curve out and back to the middle, then curve out again and finish at the bottom. Some children find it helps to think of it as a bird flying sideways.
