About this coloring page
Twelve is a dozen. This number 12 coloring page shows a big 12, the word twelve, and twelve hearts to count: two rows of five and two more below. That layout shows twelve as ten and two, the same way it is written.
There are twelve months in a year and twelve numbers around a clock face. A dozen eggs is twelve, and many eggs, muffins and donuts are sold by the dozen. Twelve can be split into equal groups in many ways: two sixes, three fours, four threes, six twos. Try sharing the twelve hearts between friends by coloring them in groups. To write 12, put a 1 and then a 2. Like eleven, twelve has its own name instead of a teen ending.
