About this coloring page
Seventeen is ten and seven. This number 17 coloring page has a big 17, the word seventeen in bubble letters, and seventeen hearts in three rows of five and one row of two. Count by fives to fifteen, then count on: sixteen, seventeen.
Seventeen cannot be split into equal groups bigger than one: try making two rows, three rows or four rows and there is always some left over. That makes it a good number for an early sharing puzzle. The word has three syllables, sev-en-teen, which children can clap. To write 17, draw a 1 and then a 7, a line across and a long slant. Seventeen is a fine number to count down from at bedtime.
