About this coloring page
Isaiah 40:31 contains the line "They shall mount up with wings as eagles" in the King James Version. This Bible verse coloring page shows that line in bubble letters, with the reference beneath, inside a frame with stars and planets in the corners.
Isaiah 40 begins with words of comfort for people who were tired and discouraged. The full verse says that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength, mount up like eagles, run without growing weary and walk without fainting. Eagles can soar high on rising air with very little flapping, which makes them a good picture of strength that does not run out. The verse is popular with athletes, people recovering from illness, and graduates. Children can draw an eagle in the margins.
