About this coloring page
Proverbs 3:5 begins "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart" in the King James Version, and that opening line is what this Bible verse coloring page shows, in bubble letters inside a frame with flowers in the corners and the reference below.
Proverbs is a book of wise sayings, and chapter 3 is written as advice from a parent to a child. The full verse continues by saying not to lean on your own understanding, and the next verse promises that God will direct your paths. "Thine" is older English for "your". The idea is wholehearted trust, not halfway. It is a common verse for graduations, confirmation and baptism cards, and for anyone at a crossroads. With children, talk about who they trust and why trust grows over time.
